Interactive Premier League Map 2025-2026

The Premier League is the pinnacle of English football, showcasing the country’s top clubs and fiercest rivalries. Since its launch in 1992, the league has been home to some of the sport’s most iconic teams, players, and unforgettable moments. For the 2025–26 season, we’ve put together a map highlighting where all 20 Premier League clubs are based.

When the league first began, 22 clubs made up the competition, including historic names such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur. Remarkably, a select few—Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham—have maintained their top-flight status every season since the league’s inception.

Each year, the top 17 teams from the Premier League remain, while three clubs from the English Football Championship are promoted. For the 2025–26 season, the lineup has shifted once again from last season. Ipswich Town, Leicester City, and Southampton dropped out of the top flight, while Leeds United, Burnley, and Sunderland have fought their way back into the Premier League.

All six of these clubs have notable histories with promotion and relegation. Ipswich Town, who made a long-awaited return in 2023 after more than two decades outside the Premier League, will be disappointed to see their stay cut short. Leicester City, the shock champions of 2016, have now endured a turbulent few years, bouncing between the top two divisions. Southampton, a club with a proud academy that produced talents like Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott, has also been in and out of the league over the last decade.

On the flip side, Leeds United’s promotion marks the continuation of their resurgence after years in the lower leagues, and Burnley returns under a reputation as a gritty, resilient side that often defies expectations. Sunderland’s comeback is one of the bigger stories this year. Once a Premier League mainstay, they spent several seasons struggling in the lower divisions, so fans will see this return as a major milestone.
