Now you do not have to visit Sri Lankan embassy or get sticker on your psssport. Many countries are now eligible for the electronic and online visa process for Sri Lanka. You must have an email id and be able to pay by debit or credit card online. You should know your passport details from the passport biodata page. Electronic Travel Authorization or eVisa for Sri Lanka is an Immigration initiative for Short Visit to Sri Lanka and this is sent to your email. This is a very simplied, reliable and efficient method rather than visiting the Sri Lankan Embassy to get stamp on the passport. The Online Sri Lankan Visa is issued by email. You do not need to send any passport copies or couried any documents or photographs. Once you have email, go to the Airport, no stamp or endorsement on the passport is required.
