Input for the Community Asset Mapping was solicited from the public and was discussed at Green Team and Environmental Commission meetings in the spring and summer of 2017. The public was invited to the June 6, 2017 Green Team meeting. Areas that have been mapped are: Trails, Town and County Open Space, Fire Departments, Schools, Arts Programs, and Historic Sites. Additional areas planned for mapping are Parks, Recreational Areas, and locations where local produce is available. The purpose is to bring together in one map an immediate accessible way to find the locations in town for that enhance quality of life.
