This is a HOUSING map. Markers on this map represent properties for sale in the US. Properties have searchable attributes like number of bedrooms, bathrooms, price, and so forth.

Add markers on your map in one of the following ways:

  1. add one marker at a time using the add item in the 'Markers' menu above your map. You can customize your map to select from one of the MLS areas supported by us. Then, you can also add markers on your map by just using MLS numbers.
  2. add multiple markers by uploading a CSV (comma separated values) file, using the Import CSV link above your map. You can obtain a CSV file from Outlook, Excel, ACT!, Access, or many other database programs.
  3. ask a group of your colleagues or friends to add markers on this map.
    To do this, create a 'member' password using the Access Control link above your map. Then send them the map URL (http://www.zeemaps.com/2135) along with the member password, and ask them to add markers on the map.

Create a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file from Excel, ACT!, Outlook or other programs. Your CSV file must have a heading row, followed by one row for each map entry:

Properties can have a number of fields. For example:

You must have at least one field called "Price". In addition, you must specify fields to determine the location of each entry. For US, Canada or UK entries, a location can be minimally specified by a postcode and country. For other countries, we must have at least city and country. If you do not have the addresses for your entries, you also can specify 'Latitude' and 'Longitude' columns.

Use a 'Color' heading for different colored markers. Currently, we support the colors: red, black, light blue, blue, brown, light green, green, grey, orange, light purple, purple, white, light yellow, and yellow.

Any heading that does not specify a name, location, color or Photo URL will define additional fields to be stored with each property marker on your map. For the above table, Telephone and Email are additional fields for the two entries.
