    Map subscriptions allow you to remove advertisments from a map, whether the map is on the ZeeMaps server or published in your website. In addition, you can remove the ZeeMaps logo for "white-label" publishing of maps.

    You currently do not have any maps owned by you. If you've already created some maps, use the Map → Claim Map menu to claim maps.

    You can also subscribe individual maps using the Map → Subscribe menu option.

    Website subscription groups allow you to publish unlimited ads-free maps on a given website. Specify a group name, the website's base URL, and then click on the "Create Subscription Group" link.

    Best practice is to specify the top-level domain, e.g., http://zeemaps.com for all zeemaps.com URLs, including http://www.zeemaps.com, http://banksy.zeemaps.com, etc.

    You can add maps to this group using the Map → Subscribe menu item.

    Once you create a map, you can add markers to the map, highlight regions, add text annotations, upload addresses from Excel spreadsheets, etc. Share the map with your friends, colleagues, or get JPEG or PDF images. Make it a wiki map so others can add entries on the map.

    Create a Housing map if you want to mark properties for sale or rent in the US. Create an IP map if you want to mark the locations of IP addresses of your servers or website visitors. Create a Crime map to mark crime incidents. For all other maps, create a General map.

    Specify the location of your marker, and relevant information about your entry. For location information, specify an address (with or without street), latitude and longitude coordinates, or just the title of a business, e.g., Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant.

    The first time you click 'Submit', ZeeMaps will present choices of locations to you. Select a choice that best matches your search, or select 'Show me more'.

    Once you select a choice from the search menu, ZeeMaps will fill-in your location's details. Verify this information and click 'Submit' again.

    To trigger a manual update, setup automatic updates, and then use the menu item Additions→Add Multiple Markers→Refresh Google Spreadsheet.

    • Google Spreadsheet must have view access for user zeemaps at gmail dot com
    • Use Refresh to update from an already uploaded spreadsheet that is set for automatic refresh. For this to work, the spreadsheet columns must not have changed since first upload.

    Create a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file from Excel, ACT!, Outlook or other programs. Your CSV file must have a heading row, followed by one row for each map entry:

    The table above has two entries and one heading row. The heading row contains names of fields (e.g., Name and Street) for each entry.

    You must have at least one field called "Name". In addition, you must specify fields to determine the location of each entry. For US, Canada or UK entries, a location can be minimally specified by a postcode and country. For other countries, we must have at least city and country. If you do not have the addresses for your entries, you also can specify 'Latitude' and 'Longitude' columns.

    Use a 'Color' heading for different colored markers. Currently, we support the colors: black, blue, brown, burgundy, cloud, forest, fuscia, green, grey, lavender, light blue, light green, light purple, light yellow, maize, mold, olive, orange, purple, red, red dust, sky, spring, sunset, teal, tree, white and yellow.

    Any heading that does not specify a name, location, color or Photo URL will define additional fields to be stored with each entry on your map. For the above table, Telephone and Email are additional fields for the two entries.
